Image Quality Assessment Framework - PLAX Valve Visibility

Project Description

Valve visibility is a critical factor in the image quality assessment of echocardiographic images. The cardiac valves, including the mitral, aortic, tricuspid, and pulmonary valves, play essential roles in heart function and hemodynamics. Proper visualization and assessment of these valves are vital for accurate diagnosis and evaluation of valvular diseases and cardiac conditions. This project aims to create a standardized, open-access dataset of PLAX images with varying degrees of valve visibility, annotated by experts.
